Introduction. In the last two decades, great attention has been devoted to four dimensions of psychological capital (PsyCap): self-efficacy, hope, optimism, and resilience. These individual differences have found positively influence both academic professional outcomes. This work aims develop a bifactor-based version Academic PsyCap Questionnaire (APCQ), which is an instrument specifically meant for students fresh graduates. Method. Cross-sectional data were collected in large sample Italian graduates (N = 1,603). Data analysed through exploratory confirmatory factor analysis. The invariance APCQ across males females bachelor master was tested Multiple-Group Confirmatory Factor Analyses. relationships scores at its scales with soft skills explored Pearson’s correlations.
